A teardrop,
A raindrop in the shadowed forest.
The sudden swelling of a summer storm
That draws me nearer to you and washes over me
As my soul drinks in the beauty of your love.

Quietly
It begins in the far away mountains
Slowly trickling between blades of new grass.
And as you approach, it grows in depth
Until it rages through my heart
Washing away my fears, cleansing my mind of confusion.

You are my love, my source of strength.
You bring nourishment to refresh my parched existence.
For without your life sustaining flow
I would wither, dry, and blow away - dust.
Love me for all eternity as I must love you.
